Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, Dr. Mark Rayman is a true expert in matters relating to the venous system, leaving no stone unturned as he seeks out an accurate diagnosis and the best possible treatment for his patients. Upon completing his medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and fellowship at UCLA, Dr. Rayman has served in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years.
Dr. Rayman left UCLA in 1994 to become the first fellowship trained interventional radiologist to join Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. Over the course of the next 19 years, he helped build one of the premiere interventional radiology departments in the region. A certified Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, Dr. Rayman is one of only 717 physicians in the whole nation to be recognized and certified as a vein specialist.
In 2013, Dr. Rayman left Kaiser to open Beach Cities Vein and Laser Center, a practice dedicated to providing the highest level of vein care available in Southern California. At Beach Cities Vein and Laser Center, Dr. Rayman places great emphasis on spending quality time with each patient, taking the time to listen to their concerns and explain their findings and options for treatment in an understandable manner. Treatment choices are geared toward each patient’s particular needs, taking all factors into account, including the patient’s anatomy, comfort, lifestyle needs and budget. With a wide range of state-of-the-art technology from which to chose, Dr. Rayman helps his patients create a treatment plan just right for them.
